Abstract

In this article, Mattias Nordqvist and Sarah Jack describe factors that contribute to a resilience business. Describing successful family businesses in Italy and Sweden, the authors highlight three advantages; the long-term orientation, the commitment beyond financial success and the ability for quick decision-making and improvisation. Lessons learned from family businesses can help organizations from all facets of society to bounce back after COVID-19.
