Abstract
The symposium explores "democratic organizing" in the face of evolving digitalization, examining workplace democracy, decentralized organizations, and self-management. Inspired by examples from cooperatives, peer-to-peer networks, and alternative organizing, it addresses the impact of emerging technologies, workplace hybridization, and digital workspaces on democratic practices in organizations. Through dialogue, it tackles key questions on fostering democracy at work, learning from existing practices, and leveraging new ways of working to reclaim democratic values in society.
