Expertise

I use ethnographic methods to examine how expert judgment is enacted and reconfigured as distinct modes of knowing are brought into coordination through Artificial Intelligence (AI) and other computational technologies.

My work has been published in top-tier academic journals such as Academy of Management Journal and recognized with the Best Student Paper Award (CTO Division, Academy of Management). I hold three-year full research funding from the Jan Wallander and Tom Hedelius Foundation.

Building on my doctoral research on AI in radiology, I am developing a research program on computational and embodied ways of knowing, beginning with art and heritage conservation and extending across sensory domains where professional judgment has long been grounded in the trained body.
