Abstract

Service has, in numerous ways, become a focus of the healthcare sector. There is an increasing interest in employing e-mail or other Internet-based messaging systems to help facilitate communications between patients and healthcare providers. Many different projects have been put into practice. In this chapter, we focus on one such project: the use of an e-messaging system and the knowledge formation resulting from this use.
