I am a macroeconomist interested in topics related to the labor market, market power, and geographical mobility. My research has focused on working with micro-data to find interesting facts, constructing quantitative macroeconomic models to account for these facts, and using the model to perform policy recommendations. My current projects mostly investigate the macroeconomic implications of individuals' labor mobility opportunities. This includes studying the effect of means-tested programs on migration or the effect of job-retention schemes on sectoral reallocation. In addition, I study how firms' wage setting power across occupations affects workers' well-being, the firm size distribution, and the effectiveness of minimum wage policies.
