Expertise

I am a PhD student in economics at the Stockholm School of Economics and an affiliated researcher at the House of Sustainable Society (formerly Misum)

My primary research interests lie at the intersection of development economics, the economics of gender, and the economics of the family. My current research agenda investigates the role of social norms in shaping children's welfare in developing countries. Specifically, I focus on the determinants of harmful norms and their impact on the accumulation of human capital in children.

Prior to joining the PhD program, I was a full time research assistant to Prof. Martina Björkman Nyqvist and hold an MSc in Economics from University College London. I was also a part time research assistant at the Department of Social Policy and Intervention at Oxford University and a research intern at J-PAL Southeast Asia.
