Mohamed Genedy is a Post Doctoral Researcher at the House of Innovation, Stockholm School of Economics. He received his Ph.D. in Entrepreneurship from Jönköping International Business School in Sweden. His research focuses on firm scaling and growth, well-being and health impairment, family entrepreneurship and dynamics, and ownership. In his Ph.D. dissertation, Mohamed challenged the conventional positive view of entrepreneurship and emphasized the necessity of exploring the negative (dark) aspects pertaining to entrepreneurship by investigating some negative (dark) aspects of independent entrepreneurship, family entrepreneurship, and corporate entrepreneurship and examining what might potentially mitigate these negative aspects. His research has been published in the Journal of Business Venturing and Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice.

 

Mohamed has been a visiting scholar at different international universities, including Martin J. Whitman School of Management, Syracuse University in the United States and Goethe University Frankfurt in Germany. He also works as a Post Doctoral Researcher at Jönköping International Business School in Sweden.
